HEBOLD Delivers Plant to SantaFarma, Turkey

In July, Hebold Systems supplied SantaFarma with an ointment processing plant

SantaFarma, one of the most renowned and traditional pharmaceutical companies in Turkey, ordered an ointment processing plant for the commissioning of a newly built production facility with an attached R&D Center, which operates in its pharmaceutical design and control according to Part 11 with a capacity of 1.2 tons. A second ointment processing plant was delivered to the R&D department.

To meet the demand for its products, SantaFarma laid the foundation for the new building on September 10, 2012, in Dilovası Gebkim Organize Sanayi Bölgesi. The building was erected on an area of 80,000 m², and the production facility, with more than half of the total size, promises a capacity of 150 million packages. The production was equipped with 85% new plants and machines to be able to produce with the most modern future-oriented technology and under the highest quality standards. Currently, the individual processes and plants are being coordinated within the production.

In realizing the successfully completed project, SantaFarma and Hebold Systems worked closely and trustingly together to precisely define and coordinate the requirements and execution for the individually built ointment processing plant. From joint planning to technical acceptance on site, Hebold showed the greatest flexibility in order to hand over a tailor-made plant to SantaFarma.
